Christie Brooke, a friend of Charles’s reached out wanting to help Eyes Not Forgotten build classrooms in Guatemala. She was inspired by the work that the organization is doing there.

Charles met Christie through a mutual friend when she lived in Los Angeles, where both Charles and Erik live and also where ENF was founded. Christie is an actress, musician and now works with students at Kāneʻohe Elementary School…in Hawaii!!

She facilitated a film screening and benefit on Saturday, January 26, 2019 in Hawaii with half of the proceeds going towards building the second classroom in Guatemala!

Sharing Aloha Globally

Many people think that “aloha” is a word that means both hello and goodbye. It is true that the word is used when greeting someone and also saying goodbye; however, that is not to be taken literally. The real meaning of aloha in Hawaiian is that of love, peace, and compassion.

Together, we will share this message of love, peace and compassion and further fulfill ENF’s mission to bring positive change to people and communities in the United States and around the world through fundraising, partnerships and direct service. Where There is Vision, There is Hope
